Vladimir Shklyarov’s performances cancelled

It is with great regret that the Mikhailovsky Theatre is obliged to inform theatregoers that the previously announced performances by Vladimir Shklyarov have been cancelled. On 30 June, the artist signed documents confirming the dates of his performances at the Mikhailovsky Theatre for the upcoming season, but on 9 July, he wrote a letter cancelling these commitments, citing “a number of personal complications.” His letter contains the following phrase: “Any further words would be empty and inappropriate”. It is difficult to disagree with the artist on this point. We wish Vladimir Shklyarov all the best in his career and hope that in future he will be better equipped to manage his personal circumstances and better able to keep to his commitments.
