The Mikhailovsky Theatre in Moscow
2–4 April 2012

The Mikhailovsky Theatre will be on tour in Moscow as part of the Golden Mask Festival. Moscow audiences will have the chance to see the opera La Bohème and Nacho Duato’s one-act ballets Prelude, Duende and Nunc Dimittis – last season’s outstanding premieres – as well as Nacho Duato’s new version of The Sleeping Beauty, one of this winter’s most intriguing events. The ballet premiered in St. Petersburg on 16 December, but this will be the first performance of this sensational production in Moscow.  







       
The Mikhailovsky Theatre on tour in Japan
The Mikhailovsky Theatre first toured Japan over 30 years ago. Since then Japanese audiences have always greeted our performers with enthusiasm, and the winter tour has become a wonderful tradition. This year, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, performers from St. Petersburg will again be offering Japanese theatregoers a joyful encounter with music and ballet.

December 2, 2010–January 17, 2011
In winter 2010/11 the Mikhailovsky Ballet Company is heading to Japan. The tour will mark the 30th anniversary of the cooperation with the production management company Koransha.

       
The Mikhailovsky Opera in Korea October, 2-10 2010
On 2-10 October the Mikhailovsky Opera soloists went to Korea to participate in the International Daegu International Opera Festival, the events of which took place in Seoul, Daegu, Busan, Moscow, St Petersburg and other Korean and Russian cities.

The Mikhailovsky Ballet Company has come home from the Mikkeli tour, which took place on 13-26 September 2010 at the Mikaeli Concert Hall.

       
London Tour-2010   July, 13–25 2010
In the summer 2010, Mikhailovsky Ballet will perform in The London Coliseum. The successful debut of the company in London in 2008 made it possible to enhance the program and make the new visit longer.

       
Japan Season of the Mikhailovsky Ballet   January 2010
The Mikhailovsky Ballet started the year of 2010 in Japan. For many years the Mikhailovsky has been a complete sold-out in the country and the upcoming tour once again proves the rule: the public demand for the performances of St Petersburg company is overwhelming.

       
The Mikhailovsky Theatre starts its Japan Tour   November, 25 –December, 2009
The Mikhailovsky Theatre has been successfully touring around Japan for twenty years already. The 20th jubilee tour included both ballet and opera performances: ballets Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, La Bayadére and operas Eugene Onegin and Tosca.

       
Venice Tour of the Mikhailovsky Ballet   October, 27–31 2009
In the autumn 2008, the Mikhailovsky Ballet made its debut at the famous La Fenice in Venice. The success of the debut tour launched the tradition of autumn Venice tours of the Mikhailovsky Ballet.

       
Finland tour   September, 2009
The Mikhailovsky Ballet and Orchestra made their debut in the town of Mikkeli, Finland, which every September hosts Ballet Festival. The Mikaeli Concert Hall saw two ballet productions Giselle, Cipollino and Gala Concert. The performances of the Mikhailovsky Ballet became a great event for the whole country: both exited public and great critical acclaim confirm the fact.

London tour    July, 22–27 2008
On July 27, 2008, the Mikhailovsky Ballet made a triumphal ending of the first ever London Tour, which took place at the London Coliseum.

       
Moscow tour   July, 11–12 2008
On July 11-12, 2008, the new stage of the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow saw the premiere of the opera L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti.
