Last autumn the Mikhailovsky Ballet made it debut at the famous La Fenice in Venice.
The success of the debut tour launched the tradition of autumn Venice tours of the Mikhailovsky Ballet.
In October 2009, La Fenice hosts the Mikhailovsky Ballet Company with the new production of Swan Lake by Alexander Gorsky – Asaf Messerer staged by Mikhail Messerer.
The performances are to take place on October 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. The main roles are performed by the stars of the Mikhailovsky Ballet Ekaterina Borchenko, Irina Kosheleva, Irina Perren, Mikhail Sivakov and Marat Shemiunov.
