Tonino Guerra is charmed by Rusalka
Tonino Guerra, the renowned writer and screenwriter for the films that became canonized classics, attended a performance of Rusalka at the Mikhailovsky Theatre on May, 22.


       When the curtain fell and the storm of applause came to an end, he wrote some words about the production. 

Mrs. Guerra was kind to translate them from Italian to Russian: “In our world where there are no ideals left, I’m instantly charmed when a fairy tale revives. The music surrounded me, the singing Rusalka was next to me. Thank you. Tonino Guerra.”
