Quatro. A Project of Virtuoso Dancers
The production of the ballet Quatro was initiated by the two virtuoso dancers Denis Matvyenko and Leonid Sarafanov who cooperated with Romanian choreographer and dancer, director of the SNG Maribor Ballet in Slovenia Edward Clug and Slovenian composer Milko Lazar.


       The Mikhailovsky Theatre public has been acquainted with a duet from Clug’s ballet Radio and Juliet performed by Denis and Anastasia Matvyenko.

Quatro is the latest product in the continuing collaboration between choreographer Clug and composer Lazar. All the participants of the project are very enthusiastic about the idea of creation a contemporary ballet: the dancers are interested in trying completely new plastique and choreography, the ballet master thinks it to be a challenge to create a new piece for the renowned dancers. The Double Bill at the Mikhailovsky Theatre will also include classical divertissements.
