TEFI-2010 Award Ceremony
On 25 September 2010 the Mikhailovsky Theatre hosted the award ceremony of the National TV Competition TEFI-2010 in the category “Faces”. The annual competition was held for the 16th time in the 46 categories. The awards in 19 categories and special prizes were given Mikhailovsky Theatre.

The Mikhailovsky Theatre opened its 178th season with the two latest premieres — ballet Laurencia and opera Un ballo in maschera. On 15 September 2010 the luxurious theatre masterpiece of Stalin’s classicism — Chabukiani’s ballet Laurencia revived to celebrate the centenary from the birth of the great choreographer.

AVTODOM gave the theatre BMW cars
On the opening night of the 178th season of the Mikhailovsky Theatre on 15 September the partner of the theatre AVTODOM Company gave the theatre three BMW 7-Series cars which will be used for the needs of the theatre.

On 13 September 2010 the Mikhailovsky Theatre staff gathered on the threshold of the 178th season. The traditional meeting was visited by Vice-governor of St Petersburg Alla Manilova and the Chairman of the Culture Committee Anton Gubankov.
