Journalists invited to a rehearsal

At 14:00 on 20 November Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev will rehearse in the large rehearsal hall, and journalists have been invited to attend.


The dancers are preparing for their final performance in Don Quixote at the Bolshoi Theatre on 27 November, which will conclude their contract there. As the young stars’ move to the Mikhailovsky Theatre has caused an enormous amount of public interest, media representatives will have the opportunity to find out about their future plans at first hand.

Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev’s first appearance at the Mikhailovsky Theatre as Prima Ballerina and Principal Dancer will be on 01 December, in the gala concert that will conclude the Mikhailovsky Theatre Grand Prix; they will dance a Rossini pas de deux choreographed by Leonid Jacobson. On 07 December they will begin rehearsing for Nacho Duato’s new version of The Sleeping Beauty.

The first performances featuring the couple are planned for 28, 29 and 30 December. .
