Several renowned groups from China, Malaysia and other countries which are the natural habitat of the tiger have been invited to perform. The concert will star the queen of Asian rock Ella and The Love Beggars from Malaysia, Chinese singer Liu XiJun and an intellectual pop-rock group Wang Feng also from China. The international Tiger Summit is the first meeting at the highest level dedicated to saving the tiger. The leaders of the governments of Russia, Bangladesh, Butan, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, China, Laos, Malaysia, Myanma, Nepal, Russia and Thailand will attend and intend to sign the St Petersburg Declaration aimed at radically boosting the tiger population over the coming years. |
