Charity concert The Little PrinceOn May 29, the Mikhailovsky Theatre in cooperation with the Give a Life Foundation presents a charity concert The Little Prince. The annual concert hold by the foundation is to take place in St Petersburg for the first time. The new program is a musical-vocal staging of The Little Prince, the novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry featuring unique video sets using sand animation. |
Famous drama and film actors, popular musicians — Yury Shevchuk, Andrey Makarevich, Vyacheslav Butusov, Ilya Lagutenko, musical group Tchaif — will take part in the charity evening. But the most important feature of the production is participation of children. Together with the musicians they will record the songs and perform them at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
The general partner of the project is Sberbank that largely helped with arranging the concert. All the income from the charity performance will be spent on curing the children suffering from cancer.
