This summer the Mikhailovsky Theatre is presenting Ballet Time.


This summer the Mikhailovsky Theatre is presenting Ballet Time. The renowned ballets are to be performed by the principals of the Mikhailovsky Ballet and guest stars. Among the ballets presented in the framework of Ballet Time, there is the premiere of Le Corsaire (chor. revised by Farukh Ruzimatov), ballet blockbuster Spartacus (chor. by George Kovtun), subtle reconstruction of Giselle by Nikita Dolgushin and classical productions of Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote and La Bayadère.

On June, 18th the young star of the Mikhailovsky Ballet Company Nikolay Korypayev partners the guest star from the San Francisco Ballet Maria Kochetkova in The Sleeping Beauty.

On June, 27th Semyon Chudin, principal dancer with the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre partners Elena Kotsyubira in Giselle, on July, 1st young stars of the Bolshoi Ballet Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev are to present an on-stage harmony in Giselle.
