A new series of the Backstage Story subscription
By popular demand of regular theatre-goers the Mikhailovsky Theatre has issued a new series of the Backstage Story subscription for children.
In the year of 2011 the funny Baron von Tuning Fork opens the backstage for the young public and undiscloses interesting theatre secrets and tricks, explains difficult theatre terms, shows how make up is applied, and introduces the youngsters to conductors, villains and princes, fairies and witches, princesses, and other opera and ballet characters.

The subscription includes four performances: In the orchestra, In the opera, In the ballet and a production of the opera composed by Prokofiev in his childhood, Velikan (The Giant).

The subscription is intended for the children of 5 and older.
