Box-office Closed until August 20
As the current season has now ended, the Mikhailovsky Theatre box-office will be closed until August 20, 2010. Tickets may instead be purchased from theatre box-offices located throughout the city (look for the yellow kiosks), or online from the Mikhailovsky Theatre's website.

On July 21st, the première of a new production of Verdi’s opera Un ballo in maschera (A Masked Ball), staged by Andrejs Žagars, General Director of the Latvian National Opera and one of Europe’s foremost directors, played to a sell-out audience at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
