The first meeting of the Friends Club
At the first “Friends Club” meeting participants discussed strategic plans for the next season at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

The first meeting of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Friends Club took place on the 31st of October, It was attended by Nikolai Kropachev, the president of the St Petersburg State University, Vladimir Gusev, the director of the Russian Museum, and Anna Belorusova, the head of Christie’s Russian department.

Council members discussed a cooperation strategy between the Friends Club and other cultural and educational institutions, possible future projects of the Club as well as the ones that are about to happen soon, such as the Earl Waldergrave’s Award ceremony for the Vaganova Ballet Academy students.

Vladimir Kekhman, CEO of the Mikhailovsky Theater, and Farukh Ruzimatov, the artistic director of the Ballet Theater, attended the meeting as well.
