On November 23 a charity concert “Help the Tiger” will take place on stage of the Mikhailovsky Theatre as a part of the International tiger summit. The International summit on Tiger will be the first high-level meeting anywhere to save an endangered species. On November 23, 2010, leaders of 13 countries will assemble in St. Petersburg to sign the St. Petersburg Declaration affirming their resolve to save wild tigers from extinction.
Famous bands from China, Malaysia and other countries in the tiger habitat distribution will participate in the large-scale “Help the Tiger” concert, organized with the participation of Russian rock musician Ilya Lagutenko. Visitors will see perform the Mummy Troll (Russia); Ella and The Love Beggars (Malaysia), who has the informal title of the queen of Asian rock, singer Liu XiJun (China) and group Wang Feng (China), who play in the genre of intelligent pop rock and have a wide popularity due to the participation in television projects.
The concert starts at 8 p.m.
