Grand Prix 2010Only Members of the Friends Club have a chance to purchase tickets for the Grand Prix till the 15th of October with a special discount. Grand Prix — is an annual competition of students of the major Russian ballet schools, which will take place at the Mikhailovsky Theatre from the 19th till the 21st October. |
The charity project first took place in 2009. In autumn 2010 the young students of the greatest ballet schools of Russia will appear on the Mikhailovsky stage to show the results of hard toil — both theirs and their teachers’.
Council of the contest will be headed by the outstanding French choreographer Roland Petit. At the Grand prix visitors will get a chance to see two premiers of the world famous choreographer Jiri Kylian Sechs Tanze (Six Dances) and Petit Mort (Little Death) as well as the ballet by Nacho Duato Na Floresta (Into the Woods).
