Attending a Performance


Dear visitors, this information should ensure your visit goes smoothly.

TICKETS
Every visitor must have a ticket. One can’t exchange or return tickets. Should the performance be cancelled, one can return money in the box office of the theatre.

WHEN TO ARRIVE
Matinee performances start at 1 pm, evening performances start at 7 pm.
If you arrive late, or leave the auditorium during a performance, for safety reasons you will be asked to wait in foyers until the interval.
Auditorium doors will open up to 30 minutes before the performance starts. Theatre doors open an hour before curtain up.

CHILDREN AT THE MIKHAILOVSKY THEATRE
Children aged 5 and older are welcome at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
Here are some guidelines to ensure they get the most from their visit:

• Children require their own ticket next to the accompanying adult.
Babes in arms cannot be admitted to the auditoria.
• The Management reserves the right to ask patrons to remove infants or children if they are causing a disturbance.
• Where events or performances are specifically for children, a recommended age range will be stated in accompanying publicity.

SAFETY AND COMFORT
Please leave your outdoor clothes, bags and umbrellas in the cloakroom.
Please don't leave your bags unattended at any time.
Please don’t eat or drink in the auditorium.
Please switch off your mobile phones during the performance.
The management would like to remind you that photography and recording are strictly forbidden.
